Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to join NourIQ Ai’s engineering team. You will help build and maintain the web interfaces and client-facing applications that deliver our AI-powered nutrition engine to end users, integrating with our backend APIs and ensuring a seamless, responsive, modern user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop clean, modular, and scalable frontend code for web applications (React, Angular or similar)
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and Figma/Sketch designs into pixel-perfect UI
- Integrate with NourIQ Ai’s backend APIs (e.g., nutrition engine, user data, tracking) and ensure efficient, reliable data flow
- Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser / cross-device compatibility
- Ensure adherence to accessibility standards and responsive mobile/desktop designs
- Work with product and design teams to iterate features, deploy updates, and maintain the frontend codebase
- Write unit and integration tests for frontend components, and assist in QA/debugging as needed
- Stay current with frontend best practices, frameworks, patterns and emerging web technologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0–2 years of professional frontend development experience (or equivalent portfolio)
- Strong fundamentals in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and one major JS framework (React, Vue, Angular)
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON data
- Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Babel), version control (Git) and modular design
- Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-device compatibility and browser quirks
- Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment, readily adapting to changing requirements
- Excellent communication skills, proactive problem-solving mindset, passion for quality user experience
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Vuex, etc)
- Familiarity with TypeScript
- Exposure to health/fitness/nutrition domains or working with data-driven apps
- Knowledge of graphQL or realtime web technologies
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines or frontend performance optimisation
